As many young basket ballers’ experiences could be in many places, winning the trust of coaches and teams’ attention for his name to be on a team roster was a big challenge, not until Scorpion basketball club was formed.

Mtambo says,” I can’t forget my first experiences with big clubs in Arusha and how hard it was for me to get acceptance. I was so touched by the way I was welcomed to join the Mtaani basketball program, and later was accepted to play for the Scorpion Basketball club.

Mtambo learned “through hard work and patience you can always achieve anything you wish for in life”.
