Chris has thrived in various local and national competitions, where he has greatly evolved his leadership skills. This brought him to lead and support his current team, Senior Kings, and create the junior basketball team, Junior Kings.

Chris says, "I have come to realize that basketball as a sport can bring people together and help them find common ground. However, I had never experienced this until I started traveling to various tournaments in Tanzania."  He supports the Pamoja Basketball Project to this day and is an excellent example for our youth.

Even though he has become a famous player in Tanzania, he will always see his home basketball team as his family. "We either stand together and succeed, or we stand as individuals and fail."  

Chris has become one of Arusha's most notable sports entrepreneurs. He owns a gear store in Arusha and delivers equipment across Tanzania. Chris believes he can still achieve a lot through playing basketball and is thankful for what it has taught him beyond the game.
